about

Having lived abroad for sixteen years of my life, I have an awareness of cultural issues and diversity. I feel at ease with different backgrounds and cultures. I believe all people have difficulties during various times in life. Roadblocks and challenges present at different times. I offer a warm and safe place to begin exploring and understanding ones’ self.

The first session would be the initial evaluation session. This session would be scheduled for an hour and a half.  During the this first session I will evaluate what current concerns and life’s demands that led you to seek psychotherapeutic help. Most importantly the session is essential to access how comfortable you are with me and give you the opportunity to decide if you and I are a good match.

My belief is that each person is uniquely shaped.  Helping people find their strengths and their resources are essential.  Therapy can also alleviate symptoms of depression and anxiety. I certainly believe therapy helps one reach and live up to their fullest potential. I am experienced and interactive. Humor and empathy are very important to me.

I received my Masters at Rutgers University and completed six years of psychoanalytic and psychotherapeutic training at The Institute for Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis of New Jersey. Since the completion of my training IPPNJ has been renamed The Contemporary Institute for Psychoanalysis of New Jersey.
